The Harbour is a cosy, intimate restaurant in a stunning location, nestled at the top of the slipway in Port Isaac.
Chef and owner Emily Scott brings classical French training to the best Cornish produce. Her regularly changing menus make the most of seasonal ingredients and freshly-caught Cornish fish.
Great food needs great wine, and The Harbour's carefully-sourced wine list features great vintages from smaller independent producers. Add the friendly, cosy atmosphere and the informal feel, and you'll see why people return to The Harbour again and again.

Emily’s new food haven will also be a venue where shoppers can pause for a coffee or a glass of wine, whilst they browse recipe books, enjoying plates of cheeses, olives and cured meats. It will provide the perfect back-drop to Emily’s burgeoning outside catering business. “People can come here and discuss their events with us; whether it’s a wedding or a small Christmas party, we can put together menu and canapé ideas over a coffee, surrounded and inspired by the kind of food we love.”
Emily is certainly not short of inspiration herself, with plenty planned for her business in the coming months. “We will be hosting ‘pop-up’ events in the Supply Store, including wine dinners and cooking demos,” she explained enthusiastically. “Lots of fresh and exciting projects are on the horizon, as we expand beyond the beautiful but bowing walls of the Harbour Restaurant.

July to me feels gentler, sweeter, the lighter days of this month are wonderful. The produce is delicious from strawberries, raspberries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, courgettes, crab and lobster among the finest. Wonderful fragrant herbs tarragon, basil & chervil. Watercress, rocket and the prettiest edible flowers, it also happens to be the month that I was born in.
Pack a picnic and escape to the seaside this July. Grilled artichokes, fennel, salads and mackerel couscous all travel well, plump cherries and luscious peaches are so delicious, or stay closer to home and create a lovely supper for friends and family. To cook in the summer months is just so special. Have a wonderful July x
